Shanese Brown

Shanese, a Nashville native, has always gravitated towards utilizing her creativity in various forms of art, design, and outreach. Her interest in architecture started as a child, crafting virtual neighborhoods in “The Sims” video game and attending youth design camps. Now Shanese focuses her passion for design, community advocacy, and equity at Anecdote Architectural Experiences (formerly known as Tuck-Hinton Architecture & Design) as a Project Coordinator. Her work embodies the delicate intersection of storytelling and community advocacy through the built environment. Shanese was recently recognized by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals as a Nashville Emerging Leader Award (NELA) Winner. When she is not volunteering as Co-Director of Programming for Nashville Design Week, you will find Shanese tending to her garden and serving as a Board Member for AIA Middle Tennessee.
